Southern Lights LimoSugar Creek Carriages is affiliated with Southern Lights Limo Service.  Our modern stretched limousines are available for tours throughout Nashville and the Middle Tennessee area.  We have a number of wedding packages featuring our black, 5 door limousine both with and without horse drawn carriages.  We provide other limo services including proms, special events, African American Heritage tour, Cultural Arts tour, and more.  We also can substitute our stretched limousines if inclement weather creates problems for our horse-drawn carriage tours.

Southern Lights and Stars Tours
$144.95 for a 60 minute regular tour
$325 for a 3 hour tour of the houses of Music City's stars
$144.95 per hour for a custom tour--you choose the time and places

$400 first 3 hours, 3 hours minimum;
$85 per additional hour
Substitution Rate
Same rate as horse-drawn carriage when substituting because of inclement weather--hot, cold, or rainy.

The Schermerhorn Symphony Center
TheCenter is an acoustical masterpiece built to house the Nashville Symphony. It was named in honor of the late Maestro Kenneth Schermerhorn.
The Frist Center
A key link in the cultural arts of Nashville, the Center is featuring the exhibit Future/Now which includes some 80 works by area college and university art students.
Chaffin's Barn Dinner Theatre
This theatre is Nashville's first and oldest Professional Theatre. Performers offer a live Broadway Style show in a comfortable relaxed atmosphere.

Nashville's colleges have produced some of the most notable African American people involved in music, the Olympics, the medical profession, church leaders, and the civil rights movement. The Fisk University Historic District has produced many outstanding graduates, including author W.E.B. Du Bois; Margaret Murray Washington, wife of Booker T. Washington; John Hope Franklin, premier African American historian; Nikki Giovanni, nationally known poet; and many others.

The First Park for African Americans in the USA
See Hadley Park, established in 1912.
Important Churches for African American
These include the First Baptist Church Capital Hill that was important for civil rights in 1960's and Capers Memorial Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, the oldest African American Church in Nashville.
Fort Negley
A fort largely built by black laborers to defend Nashville from Confederate attacks in 1862.
