In our carriages, you're comfortable as you learn your way around downtown Nashville. We'll even provide blankets on cool evenings just in case you have someone you'd like to keep warm. Our goal is to help you see the historic and entertainment areas of Nashville and Middle Tennessee in comfort and luxury in either our horse-drawn carriages or stretched limousines from Southern Lights Limo.

We specialize in narrated tours. Our carriages are equipped with speakers and our drivers have headsets to give you the best descriptions of the sights and history of Nashville. We have the safest carriage service in Nashville. We train and certify our drivers in our own carriage driving school.
Nashville has an exciting downtown full of life, sights, music, culture, and history. We have built our tour programs around some of the best attractions in Nashville. Our goal is for you to see the best our town has to offer. The carriage is a great way to learn your way around.
Fortunately, most of the attractions are in walking distance--if you like to walk. It's also in carriage ride distance where you can avoid the crowds on the sidewalk. You can see from our carriages all the major hot spots, and you can hear the music and conversation as easily as if you were walking.

Small, white vis-a-vie Carriages: 3. Two have a "Cinderella" topper; one has a purple velvet interior, and the other has a green velvet interior. The other small, vis-a-vie carriage, equally nice, has a square canopy with a heart-shaped back window.
Large, white limousine carriages: 2. One has a black velvet interior; the other has a red interior.
Extra large maroon surrey: 1. We offer a music program with this large carriage.
Trail wagon: 1. Great for special events.
Stage coach, red: 1. Also great for special events.
Black, late model stretch limousine. This is for those who like the privacy, luxury, and comfort of the enclosed automobile.
Passenger Van / Shuttle Bus. Available as needed.
Funeral Hearse, an elegant, black hearse with glass sides and curtains.

We customize our tours to fit your requirements, and your comfort and entertainment are our top priorities. We cover the major hotspots of downtown Nashville--from cultural centers to honky tonks.
Safety. We emphasize safety. We're the only company with a full-time safety operator. He protects the horses from dangerous distractions and he helps our patrons load and unload from our carriages.
Horses and Carriages. We have the best equipment all clean and well-maintained with new or like new upholstery. Our horses are in great condition and they are well groomed.
Trained Staff. We teach safety and carriage driving at our own carriage driving school. Our guides are professionally dressed and well prepared.
We offer a wide variety of services--everything from a 20 minute tour of downtown Nashville to special events across Middle Tennessee and West Tennessee. We have regularly scheduled tours, and we customize tours for your needs. We have both horse-drawn carriages and automobile tours.
We're located at 208 Broadway, Nashville, Tennessee. You can find us in the Carriage Stop near Mike's Ice Cream--a nice place to stop while you wait for our carriages. We're within walking distance of the Hard Rock Cafe, Wild horse Saloon, and other well known attractions.
Parking
There is a public parking lot across the street from 208 Broadway, and there is a parking garage around the corner on 3rd Ave.
For individuals or couples, our 20 minute tour is only $12.95 per adult on Friday and Saturday nights (children in laps are free). You can buy individual seats on any available carriage rather than requesting a specific carriage for a regular one hour tour. On our online booking system, just request "Available Carriage." You just can't beat that for a narrated tour.
For small groups, up to nine people, you can rent a carriage for only $75 for a 30 minute tour. That's less than $10 per person in a full limousine carriage.
Check our Schedule. We do not work on Mondays and Tuesdays. Because of the expense of transporting our horses we prefer to have several tours on days when we are in Nashville. We prefer to have several carriage rides reserved each day. Our online calendar will help you choose one plus alternate hours for your tour.
Request Online.Fill out our online form and we'll check our calendar. If we have a carriage available, we'll reserve it for you and send your billing information to PayPal for your payment.
Reserve by Phone. Call us directly at (615)983-2303 especially if you need a carriage within 24 hours.
Reserve Through Other Agents. We use several agencies to reserve our carriage rides, e.g. Vacations Made Easy, Nashville Sightseeing Tours, and the Visitors and Convention Bureau.
Under most circumstances, Sugar Creek Carriages does not issue refunds. Under circumstances that are beyond the customer's control, we will either reschedule the appointment or issue a refund. [More]

We provide you with a tour of the music heritage of Nashville. We'll show you the places where music history has been made AND we'll provide a musical narration with it to put everything in context. Our tour guide, a gifted musician, will play and sing the appropriate "classical" country music songs as you see the sights and learn the history of Music City's music scene.
